The Prevailing Wage Program has made an emergency wage correction to Sprinkler Fitter rates in several Central and Eastern WA counties. This correction is necessary to correct errors identified after the August 1, 2022 wage rates publication was released. The corrections published today, August 18, 2022, will become effective on August 31, 2022, the original effective date for the August publication. At no time will the incorrect rates become the prevailing wage rate.

This correction is necessary to correct a data entry error identified after the August 1, 2017 wage rates publication was released. The error caused several rates to be published at $97.25 in several Western WA counties, when the rate should be $52.70. The correction published today, August 11, 2017, will become effective August 31, 2017. (At no time will the incorrect rate become the prevailing wage rate.)
